True Beauty

In society, beauty is often defined by outward appearance. Others may claim someone is

beautiful based on their face, hair, body, clothing, etc. Yet, the stereotypes of beauty created by societies standards are not true beauty.... What is true beauty you ask?

True beauty has no form.

True beauty has no shape.

True beauty has no race.

True beauty has no gender. True beauty is inward...kindness, love, respect, and intelligence are beautiful.

The word “beauty” describes more than just humans.

A sun setting in the west Waves crashing on the shore A ballerina leaping into the air A paint brush stroking a canvas

The smile from the love of your life when they look at you.

A different kind of beauty is found in everyone.

Yet beauty itself is found in everything.

Each human displays beauty. It can be through the confidence they carry in themselves, through their passion for art, the human brain, the history of the world, for helping others...

Back to outward beauty. It is simple. No matter what race you are... What gender you identify with... Or what size you are...

You. Are. Beautiful. People seem to be told that all the time...yet it seems like they aren't told enough.

I will leave you with this message. We have to be and do better. I have to be and do better. We must be kind to one another. We must protect and respect one another.

Don’t let anyone tell you that you can't wear a dress because you were born a male. That you “need to wear makeup” or that “you wear too much makeup”. That because of the melanin in your skin, you are not acceptable.

Don't listen to the hate that may come your way just for wanting to be yourself. Stand up for yourself and stand up for others who are too afraid to do so.

People will always have a problem with something you do, simply because they have a problem with themselves.

Yet, the kindness you show to those people and the positivity you can spread remains far more important and leaves a lifelong impact.
